With his long experiences in different application fields, LJ is passionate in finding synergies between the several stakeholders for fitting mobility concepts. Improving performances (cost, time and comfort) with low or affordable investments. He is obsessed with combining sustainable and comfortable mobility.
After completing his engineering studies in Belgium in 1984, he started developing telecommunication components at Siemens and in 1991 he joined Siemens Automotive, later Continental, first in Munich (DE) and then in Toulouse (FR) for automotive components and complete systems. Later, in 2010, he pioneered IT services in the automotive industry, building new business units for virtual key systems, fleet management and car sharing systems, crowdsourcing-based dynamic maps and connected services for automated driving. In 2016-17, he led the European Automotive and Telecom Alliance (EATA) through Ertico. Since 2017, he has been working at Valeo to set up AVP services as a new product.
He is valued for his broad knowledge, creativity, vision, confidence and persistence to bring new concepts to the market.
